The Nines Gallery, Holland’s most adventuresome gallery, is in its 16th year of business. Located in the heart of Downtown Holland (next to the Holland Museum and across the street from beautiful Centennial Park) the gallery resides inside what was once the ballroom of the old Masonic Temple building. Outfitted with antiques, 12 foot tall exposed beam ceilings, hardwood floors, colored walls and the original brickwork — the Nines Gallery strives to mix in traditional decor with its unique blend of contemporary art.
Specializing in emerging artists, the Nines Gallery has a core group of highly creative painters, print makers, and sculptors. Hailing from across both the state and the nation, all of the artists represented in the Nines Gallery are making innovative, original artwork coupled with an element of risk — fusing the elements of traditional subject matter and media with the emotional tension, compositional vibrancy, and soul of today’s best contemporary artists.
